Bills on Foreign Study, Graduate Aid Advance
A subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives has approved two bills that would increase government oversight of federally financed international-studies programs at American colleges and would renew several programs that give aid to graduate students.
The bills were approved in June, in unanimous voice votes taken by the House education commitee's Subcommittee on Select Education.
