Bill Would Help Needy Undergraduates Study Abroad

GIST: A year of study at a foreign college can broaden the experience and outlook of an undergraduate student, but the cost is often prohibitive to students of limited means. A bill approved by the U.S. House of Representatives last week would establish a grant program within the State Department to help students pay the cost of studying abroad. The program would give grants of up to $5,000 to students who are
