Bill Would Halt Fee Increase for College Radio Stations That Play Music Online
Senators introduced a bill this month to halt a fee increase for college and high-school radio stations that play music online. It is similar to legislation introduced in the House of Representatives last month that would cap the fees increase.
The Senate version goes further than the House's in helping Webcasters at educational institutions by keeping their fees at current levels.
