Colleges Said to Have Big Blind Spots in Presidential Searches
Jacksonville, Fla.
Colleges lag behind corporations when it comes to having the information they need to pick their top leaders, a group of prominent presidential-search consultants told education researchers here on Friday.
The search consultants, who were convened for a panel discussion by the Association for the Study of Higher Education, told the group’s members that their work was complicated by a lack of empirical research comparable to what exists in the business world.
