Bhutan Plans Second Liberal-Arts College to Meet Demand
The Kingdom of Bhutan has agreed to open a second liberal-arts college in order to educate the growing number of students in the tiny Himalayan nation.
The new college will be housed in a large complex being constructed at the Tala Hydroelectric Project in the southwestern town of Gedu. Bhutan's education minister, Lyonpo Thinley Gyamtsho, says that creating the college will require a minimum investment since it will be able to take advantage of existing infrastructure when the power
