Berkeley Closes Fraternity After Hazing Incident
Brothers, do not take aim at your fellow brothers.
The University of California at Berkeley announced this month that it had temporarily closed a fraternity following a hazing incident this past spring in which a pledge was shot and wounded repeatedly with a pellet gun.
Under the terms of an agreement, the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity will be closed until at least August 2006, when Berkeley officials will determine whether to reinstate the chapter. Members of the fraternity also must
