Bedbugs Put the Bite on 2 Stanford Dorms

An outbreak of bedbugs in two Stanford University dormitories has caused campus officials to warn student residents to watch out for the blood-sucking parasites and notify authorities if they suspect an infestation, the San Jose Mercury News reported. At least six students have been exiled from rooms where the bugs have been found. Dorm rooms are prime feeding zones for bedbugs, which can travel from room to room, and the problem is not unique to Stanford. In August, the article said, the bugs were discovered in a room at San Jose State University.
