Baylor President Faces the Test of His Tenure

Faculty critics say his leadership has led to a campus 'marked by fear'

While Baylor University students gathered around and prayed with their embattled president, Robert B. Sloan Jr., members of the Faculty Senate emerged from a four-hour closed meeting here last week to announce that they had overwhelmingly approved a sharply worded resolution of no confidence in Baylor's leader.
