Washington State University reprimanded its baseball coach on Tuesday for lying about his academic credentials when he was hired there as an assistant coach, in 2003, according to a university news release. The coach said he had received a certificate in education, but it turns out he never completed the program. The coach remains in the dugout, presumably, because you don’t need an education certificate to pick your starting pitcher.
