Bard College Changes Site of Planned Performing-Arts Center
The administration at Bard College has decided to give in to preservationists and environmentalists and move the location of its greatly anticipated performing arts center.
The building, designed by Frank O. Gehry, will have a stainless steel skin like much of his other work, including the acclaimed Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain.
Residents near the Bard campus liked the design, but didn't want it
