Bar Association Seeks to Ease Rules on Distance Education for Law Schools
The accrediting body of the American Bar Association recommended last month that law schools be allowed to offer distance-education courses for credit.
The Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar, which handles accreditation for the bar association, endorsed proposed regulations that would limit law students to 12 credit hours through distance education out of the 80 required to graduate. The students would not be allowed to take any courses at a distance
