Baptist College in Virginia May Be Forced to Close

Does anyone have $4-million lying around?

If so, please send it to Virginia Intermont College. If the Baptist institution doesn’t get the dough soon, it may have to close its doors, according to the Associated Press.

The article says the 123-year-old college has been unable to issue contracts to faculty members, and is also looking at a possible merger — with an unnamed private college in Virginia — to stay afloat. —Thomas Bartlett
