Bangkok U. Offers Prizes to Encourage Modesty; Arizona State U. Teams With China to Open Business School

Bangkok University administrators have devised what they hope is an inspired solution to frequent violations of the institution's dress code: They are offering jewelry as prizes for modest dress.

The university has begun a campaign to encourage its female students to dress so as to avoid gratuitous displays of skin that officials say are inappropriate and not conducive to a learning environment.
