Bandwidth Leap Lets Dancers and Musicians in 2 Cities Give a Joint Performance
The Cleveland Institute of Music is preparing to break a sound barrier that has stood in the way of interactive performances over the Internet.
Working with the Internet2 advanced-networking consortium, students and faculty members of the institute and of neighboring Case Western Reserve University will use synchronized "surround sound" audio and video to present a performance by student dancers and musicians in Los Angeles and Cleveland.
