Four members of Florida A&M University’s famous “Marching 100” band have been charged with hazing in connection with the attempted theft of towels, pillows, irons, and comforters from a Detroit hotel last month, while they were on a trip with the football team to perform in the Detroit Football Classic, according to an article published by the Black College Wire. The Detroit incident was one of several cited by a campus police officer in announcing the arrests, but she did not specify how the thefts amounted to hazing.
