Ball State University Creates a CD-ROM to Make Its Case to Legislators

With so many technology projects on its wish list for the next legislative session, Ball State University figured that a routine budget proposal on paper, or even a video, wouldn't quite do.

Instead, university leaders have submitted a CD-ROM -- complete with charts, simulated tours, and video clips -- to make its case for $37-million in additional state financing over the next two years. The university
