Balancing Education and Religion at Evangelical Christian Colleges

To the Editor:

I was deeply troubled by your March 5 article "Enrollments Surge at Christian Colleges." I believe that, in its overall effect, the article is distorted and unfair, and misses the point of what the Christian college is attempting to do.

There are some statements that, by themselves, represent distortions. Primarily, though, the distortion in the article arises not from what is said, but
