Award Will Put Winning History Monographs on the Web
To test how historians will react to on-line publication of scholarly works, the American Historical Association is creating an annual awards program in which monographs will be selected and published on the World-Wide Web, rather than in printed form. Association leaders approved the program this month at the group's annual meeting.
The monographs, six each year, will be formatted and put on line by Columbia
