Authors Boycott an Elsevier Journal Over Refusal to Publish a Paper on IBM
Authors writing for a special issue of a health journal have told the publisher, Elsevier, that they will withhold their articles to protest Elsevier's refusal to publish a paper about occurrences of cancer among IBM workers.
Joseph LaDou, guest editor of the special issue of Clinics in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, said that the boycott -- which is unanimous -- was designed to show solidarity with Richard W. Clapp, a professor of environmental health at Boston
