Austrian Universities Break Off Serbian Contacts Over New Yugoslav Law

Universities in Austria have broken off all contact with Serbia to protest that Yugoslav republic's widely criticized new higher-education law. The decision was made last month at a meeting of the Austrian Rectors' Conference, which represents the country's 18 state universities.
