Austrian Research Center Criticizes Far-Right Party; British University Hospital Under Fire for Treatment of Patient; Thai Government Suspends Textbook's Publication
An international research center in Vienna has broken from its scholarly neutrality to criticize the far right's participation in the Austrian government.
The Interdisciplinary Center for Comparative Research in the Social Sciences, an independent institute, says it doesn't usually comment on everyday politics and has "no ideological commitments above and beyond those associated with good social science."
