Australian University in Vietnam Will Focus on Online Instruction
An Australian university will establish a university in Vietnam that will rely extensively on online technology, both for distance learning and for traditional classroom instruction.
Officials of R.M.I.T. University, formerly the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, say the new university is the first foreign-owned institution approved by the Vietnamese government. The approval was issued last month. The new institution will be called R.M.I.T. International University
