Australian University Closes Campus in United Arab Emirates in Dispute With Government
A leading Australian university has closed its campus in the United Arab Emirates less than a year after it opened.
The University of Southern Queensland's decision has left about 300 mainly Arab undergraduates in the lurch at the start of their third semester.
The Dubai institution was dogged by controversy. It had been planned without the knowledge of the university's president, Bill Lovegrove, who learned of the venture after receiving an application for one of its faculty
