Aurora U. Pushes Popcorn for Profits
Aurora University is selling special popcorn to raise money for its American Indian museum.
The popcorn plants were bred by Herb and Martha Schingoethe, who own a farm west of here. Their product is a blend of eight varieties that grow without pesticides or fertilizers.
In 1989, the couple donated $3-million to help the university build the Schingoethe Center for North American Cultures, which houses more than 2,000
