Auburn U. Panel Finds That Classes Heavily Attended by Athletes Went Easy on All Students
An Auburn University committee investigating whether two professors' independent-study classes propped up athletes has found that the professors were "overly accommodating to all students," not just athletes.
Even so, the panel's report, released last week, shows that the fraction of athletes who took courses from the two professors was still much larger than the proportion of athletes at the university over all.
