Athletics at Okla. State Receives $165-Million
A billionaire alumnus has given Oklahoma State University at Stillwater $165-million for new athletics facilities, in what university officials said last week was the largest donation ever to a college athletics program.
The Texas oil tycoon T. Boone Pickens, a 1951 graduate of Oklahoma State, has paid the cash gift in full, a university spokesman said.
The donation will be used to help build a multipurpose indoor football-practice complex, an equestrian center, a baseball
