Athletics Leadership Remains Mostly White
More women but fewer members of minority groups are getting hired in college athletics, according to a report from the Center for Diversity and Ethics in Sport. Especially among athletics directors and conference commissioners, the leadership of college sports remains overwhelmingly white, the report says.
The center, based at the University of Central Florida, issues the report every other year. It takes the form of a report card, this year giving college athletics a B- for minority
