TEAM PENALTIES: Twelve more sports teams at seven universities have run afoul of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's new academic standards and, as a result, will lose scholarships over the next year. The programs are at Arizona State University (men's basketball), Northern Arizona University (football), San Diego State University (baseball, football), San Jose State University (baseball, football, men's cross country, men's soccer), Texas A&M University at College Station
