At Ohio U., a Computer in Every Dormitory Room
Trustees of Ohio University, in Athens, voted this month to equip every dormitory room on the campus with a computer and a printer.
Ohio's Board of Trustees approved spending $2.8-million to buy 2,100 computers, said Leesa Brown, a university spokeswoman.
Last year, the university started providing computers in the dorm rooms of all freshmen. The trustees' vote expands that effort, and the computers are expected to be installed this summer.
