At North Dakota State U., New Software Means a Deferred Paycheck
Many faculty and staff members at the North Dakota State University System will have to skip a paycheck when new payroll software is installed this summer -- and they will not get the missed pay until they leave the university.
Paychecks will be forgone on July 15, after which workers will be paid twice a month. Each paycheck will represent the pay period that ended 15 days earlier. Currently there is no pay lag for most employees.
