At Football Luncheon, Ohio State U. President Dines on Shoe Leather
Looks like William E. Kirwan didn't finish his summer reading.
Mr. Kirwan, president of Ohio State University, is in his first full academic year as chairman of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I Board of Directors. It's clear, though, that he hasn't yet absorbed all 466 pages of the NCAA's Division I rulebook.
While speaking to a luncheon at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, in Canton, Ohio, in October, Mr. Kirwan talked up the Buckeyes' recruiting efforts.
