At Duke, Compensation Isn't Just About Money

During her years on the campus, Ms. Johnson has used several employee benefits. Both she and her daughter have had surgery at the university's hospital at a small fraction of what it would have cost elsewhere. And Duke paid for her to enroll in a certificate program in human resources.
