At Community Colleges, Foreign Students Discover Affordable Degree Programs
When Monika Megyesi was growing up in Romania during the despotic reign of President Nicolae Ceausescu, she remembers her mother speaking of the United States as a land of opportunity.
Today, like increasing numbers of foreign students, Ms. Megyesi, 26, says she has found those opportunities at a community college.
