At Community-College Technology Conference, a Focus on Entertaining While Teaching
The annual conference on information technology held by the League for Innovation in the Community College drew 2,300 participants here last week, most of them faculty members. Sessions focused on trends in emerging technology, teaching and learning, work-force partnerships, and leadership development, among other areas.
A number of the sessions involved using entertainment and interactivity to engage students — particularly those taking online courses.
