At Admissions Conference, Talk of Standardized Tests, Early Decisions, and Swag

The sun was hot, the margaritas cold, and the discussions intense. At the annual conference of the National Association for College Admission Counseling, admissions deans and high-school counselors gathered in late September for schmoozing and soul-searching.
