'Asiaweek' Drops University Ratings
Asiaweek magazine has abandoned its controversial rankings of universities in Asia and the Pacific.
The latest annual survey was to have been published last month by the Hong Kong-based magazine, which is the only periodical ever to have attempted to rank the "best" general institutions from across the region.
Instead, Asiaweek issued a notice on its Web site explaining that it would not publish the expected survey, "because these institutions do not change all that much over 12
