As War Rages On, Shortages and Dangers Threaten American U. of Beirut Hospital

Officials at the American University of Beirut worried last week that renewed Israeli bombardment of Beirut would keep essential personnel from coming to work at the university hospital. A helpful rumor kept the hospital running smoothly last Thursday, but the medical center continues to face threats to its medical and fuel supplies — as well as to its staff.
