Arts Library at UCLA Threatened by Budget Ax
Thanks to California's drastic budget cuts, students and faculty members at the University of California at Los Angeles no longer have Saturday library hours. They may not have a dedicated arts library much longer, either.
University Librarian Gary E. Strong raised this dire possibility on his UCLA University Librarian blog on August 4, and since then nearly 4,000 people have added their names to an online petition of protest. Faculty members have argued that one possible contingency
