Threatened Arts Library at UCLA Gets a Temporary Reprieve
The Arts Library at the University of California at Los Angeles will remain open in its current location at least until next summer, temporarily easing fears that the library would be closed or moved because of California's severe budgetary troubles. In an August 31 letter to library supporters, University Librarian Gary E. Strong wrote that "the arts library "remains open and will remain open throughout this academic year."
