Article in 'Commentary' Says Literary Scholar Edward Said Has Lied About His Palestinian Childhood
For the past several decades of his remarkable career, the literary scholar and Palestinian advocate Edward Said has written about the ways in which narrative constructs identity. Now an essay in the new issue of Commentary claims that Mr. Said's portrayal of his own childhood is "a tissue of falsehoods."
