Three young men have been arrested in connection with the shooting deaths last December of two doctoral students from India at Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge. At the time, a university official described the crime as a “home invasion” in a campus apartment building.
According to the Associated Press, the authorities have not explained what led them to make the arrests or what motive the killers may have had. The three suspects were charged with two counts each of first-degree murder. —Andrew Mytelka
