Arkansas Tests Online Courses to Ease a Shortage of Nurses
A shortage of nurses across its home state has prompted the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences to create online nursing courses to train badly needed personnel.
The courses aren't meant to replace the real-life experience that student nurses receive while working with patients. Students in the program typically are already registered nurses and are taking classes to learn more about nursing theory and management.
