Ariz. College District Fires 2 Presidents
Two community-college presidents in Arizona have been fired in the midst of a police investigation into allegations of fraud, theft, and cover-ups at several campuses of the Maricopa County Community College District.
The district's chancellor, Rufus Glasper, announced last week that he had asked for the resignations of the two presidents — Homero Lopez, of Estrella Mountain Community College, and Larry K. Christiansen, of Mesa Community College.
