Are Athletes Cheating? Fire the Coach
To the Editor:
Florida State University was recently found guilty of academic cheating by students on athletics teams. The National Collegiate Athletic Association punished the sports program by putting the football team on four-year probation and with the loss of a few athletics scholarships ("NCAA Orders Florida State U. to Forfeit Wins Over Cheating Scandal," The Chronicle online, March 6).
