Arab Students in the United States
To the Editor:
Am I the only academic who finds the never-ending emphasis on the presumed traumas of Arab-American students following the terrorist attacks extremely pointless ("At a Session for Arab and American Students, Friction and Friendliness," November 9)?
Let us remind ourselves of a few facts: Arab terrorism cost the lives of probably 5,000 people in Washington and New York a few weeks ago. No one is accusing Arab students here ... of playing significant roles. But
