Apparel Company Signs Sponsorship Deal With 3 Black College Leagues

Athletics departments at historically black colleges are getting a major shot in the arm this fall.

Russell Athletic, an Atlanta-based apparel-and-shoe manufacturer, is ironing out the final details of sponsorship deals that will cover all members of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, and the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
