Apology Disavowed in Australia
A retired law professor in Australia has demanded that a newspaper in the Sydney area apologize for publishing an apology in his name whose presentation, he said, distorted his stance.
The disputed statement, which the Parramatta Sun ran on its front page last month, had been presented as the final word in a racially charged controversy that began more than a year ago.
