Antiwar Movement Gathers Momentum on American Campuses
After weeks of scattered activity, a campus antiwar movement is building momentum.
The University of California at Berkeley became Protest Central earlier this month, when representatives from 40 West Coast colleges gathered for a conference of California Students Against the War. A similar conference of East Coast institutions was held at Boston University. Smaller conferences are planned elsewhere.
