Antioch U. May Allow College to Split Off
The Antioch College alumni who have been pressing to preserve their alma mater as an independent college now have a glimmer of hope for a deal.
The Board of Trustees of Antioch University announced last week that it had agreed to consider transfering ownership of the 155-year-old college to a new body with its own Board of Trustees. Those trustees would operate the Yellow Springs, Ohio, institution as a free-standing liberal-arts college, separate from the five adult-focused campuses
