Antioch Students Face a Tough Choice

Ben Ballou applied to Antioch College and nowhere else. He loved its offbeat vibe. After receiving his acceptance letter, he looked forward to hanging out and playing his guitar at what he affectionately calls "the biggest hippie college in the country."

Then, just two days before his high-school graduation, Antioch announced that it would close in 2008. Mr. Ballou faced a tough question. Should he go to Antioch for just one year?
